Hey, played it a little bit and it's fun! Movement's solid and its pretty.

I would like to ask about a few quality of life features, that I think might push the game a bit further. Sorry if its already in your future plans or brought up, an outside observer here!

  • Would it be possible to play through the entire song even when failing, even if its in a seprate practice mode? You already got the precentage counter to display the player's success, and it would make practicing the song and appriciating all the content more accessible! By its nature the game's very trial and error, and it would be easier to learn the patterns if its allowed to be practiced in its full extent.
  • Can you add menu navigation via controller joystick? It feels weird to switch to mouse to change things*
  • Will you consider adding a blur/panel behind the pause menu? The bright colors and sharp lines of the game make the UI legibility a bit rough when it gets into heavy VFXs

Either way great job, its a great concept and I can easily see it popping off in a big way when finished!
